EarTranslate is designed so speech recognition and translation can run on your device using Apple frameworks. We do not operate a speech cloud that receives your microphone audio for translation.
What the app uses
Microphone access for live speech. On-device speech recognition and Apple Translate language packs you download. Optional Friend Call uses Local Network to find nearby devices — audio/text for that feature stays between the paired phones.
Purchases
Subscriptions and lifetime unlocks are processed by Apple. Purchase status may be checked through RevenueCat using anonymous App Store receipts — not your conversation audio.
